Full Service Nursery in Newberry, FL
The gates to The Green House Nursery opened in 2009.
It is a family-run business backed by more than 50 years of combined horticultural knowledge and experience. As owner and visionary, Justin Green learned his work ethics and his knowledge of plants while working as a young child mowing lawns and learning the nursery business with his dad. It was his passion and interest that continued to grow, fulfilling his dream of owning his own Nursery business.
Working with commercial and residential customers, Justin has mastered both the landscape and the hardscape business. His one-stop shop has become the largest retail nursery in Alachua County. Sitting on over 19 acres of land, you are sure to find something that suits your needs. From small garden projects to creating your outdoor paradise, our landscape professionals are here and ready to help you create your ultimate relaxation spot; with their knowledge, they can help design your project for you.

WHAT SETS THE GREEN HOUSE NURSERY APART?
Imagine stepping into your backyard and feeling an instant sense of peace? Aside from the breeze, you get to see lush, vibrant plants framed by artistic stone pathways, and the gentle sound of a well-placed fountain completing your personal oasis. This isn’t just landscaping; it’s the art of outdoor living, crafted for you by The Green House Nursery, a full service nursery in Newberry, FL. And here's what sets us apart.
MORE THAN JUST A GARDEN CENTER
We're landscape & hardscape specialists who believe your outdoor project deserves the same care you'd give to decorating your living room. Every element should work together, from the first shovel of soil to the final paver stone. Our team handles it all under one roof, so you don't have to coordinate with a nursery or a hardscaping crew. You're working with a team that knows your property, understands your vision, and takes pride in seeing it through from start to finish.
THE ONE-STOP ADVANTAGE
Choosing a business that does it all gives you one thing: consistency. When our landscaper plans your flower beds, they’re already considering drainage. When our hardscape coordinator designs your patio, they know exactly which plants will thrive around it. This seamless approach saves you time, money, and the frustration of contractors blaming each other. After years of watching Florida’s seasons shift, we know which trees withstand summer storms, which irrigation systems work in sandy soil, and how to build spaces that look beautiful year-round. That insight comes from experience, hard work, and truly caring about your yard long after installation.
BUILT ON GENERATIONS OF KNOW-HOW
Family-owned businesses run differently. There's a reason we've been growing steadily since 2009, and it comes down to the 50-plus years of combined horticultural knowledge backing every recommendation we make. When you ask our staff about plant care, drainage issues, or design ideas, you're tapping into decades of real-world experience, not just book learning. Our team is known for real expertise delivered with real warmth, helping beginners, seasoned landscapers, and everyone in between choose plants and materials with confidence.
