SOD

Sod (also known as Turf or Grass) is a thin, upper layer of top soil with grass growing from it. From golf to garden, it’s a staple in any beautiful landscaping project.

Our sod is shipped directly from the farm weekly so it is always “fresh cut.” We deliver and install a number of different grass types such as St. Augustine, Zoysia, & Bahia. You can purchase sod by the pallet for pick up or delivery. Green House Nursery also offers sod by the piece. We provide professional sod installation and sod delivery for residential and commercial properties in the Gainesville, Newberry, High Springs, and Alachua areas. We recommend spraying sod with proper herbicides, insecticides and fungicides immediately following installation. Contacting a spray service company for regular servicing is a convenient alternative.
